Turns off and on constantly due to thermostat. Stopped working completely after 4 months

fire cuts out after seconds the thermostat does not measure room temp . its just a waste of money

Fire turns off after minutes as the thermostat is in the wrong place. It’s a nice ornament but not fit for purpose. Will have to take back to the shop.
Works well but annoying niggles

Fire easy to install. Ignored the instructions as no help. Throws out plenty of heat. Niggles! You have to keep turning the temperature up to 30 Deg otherwise it is constantly switching off. Thermostat too close to heat. I can't leave it on standby as everytime I use either my TV remote or my Freeview recorder they switch fire on! Very annoying. Also you can set a clock on fire but if you switch fire off at rocker switch it forgets all your settings. It's good for heat but rather annoying.

This was so simple to fit adjustable depth and choice of coal /stone effects. Efficient heat output but life like flames can be used alone very decorative
