Features and benefits

The shed walls are made using high quality interlocking Shiplap Tongue & Groove boards which have been dip treated and require annual re-treatment. The design incorporates more timber framing than previously, making the shed stronger and the roof is strengthened with an additional metal roof truss bracket. The sturdy doors are braced with strong double “Z” framing and fixed with secure hidden hinges that cannot be accessed when the door is closed. They can be secured by the plate hasp and staple latch. To personalise this building, the doors can be hung either end of the shed relative to the window side to suit your garden layout. The two fixed windows are made from shatterproof PET glazing, which will not become yellow or brittle over time and allow sunlight to enter the interior while you are working. This flexible shed is made up of modular sections where same size panels are interchangeable, this means you can choose which side the window panel goes during assembly and choose whether to have it towards the front or back of the shed. The solid timber floor is Pressure Treated for longevity and is sturdy enough for heavy tools and equipment.

  • Shiplap Tongue & Groove construction with watertight interlocking smooth-planed boards
  • Easy to build and move, unique design with smaller sections for easy assembly
  • Strong construction with increased framing and robust Z-framed door
  • Timber boarded floor as standard, stronger than OSB sheet material

Profesional Handyman - 2 days ago

Floor comes in two pieces and the bearers are only 28mm wide so will likely last about 5-7 years if your lucky. The bearers on the frame are 28mm square framework which is flimsy as hell, as its so called "Modular" design IE Comes in little panels that need to be screwed together (for ease of their transport) but makes for an appalling build with thin strips on the outside to cover the joints and no strength. The so called windows are 1mm thin pre formed plastic (I mistook for packaging) that fix to the outside with battens, no proper reveals, mastic etc, (I'm going to throw them away and modify it as best I can but I'm not hopeful even though I am a professional handyman and ex glazier). The door jambs are supposed to be screwed to the inside edges but are warped and twisted (like the door frame ends up as it is not one piece but part of the walls and part of the apex front) and poor quality thin strips and then we come to the roof! 4 pieces of 9mm thin OSB board supposedly screwed through into 28x37mm battens and held on to the walls with tiny metal brackets and covered in the thinest kennel felt I have ever seen. Overall, this is the worst product I have ever seen and not worth spending any money on at all let alone £700 quid. I don't doubt that all the Forest Garden products B&Q are selling are equally appalling. My advice, do more research as they are TOTAL RUBBISH
