Absolute Rubbish
I bought this 2 weeks ago and it arrived broken which was hardly surprising as the build quality is shockingly bad as you can see by the finish on the wood and the length of nails used. Note also how rusty they appear to be. It is the worst thing I have ever been sold by anyone and returning it was a nightmare. In the end I had to take it back to B&Q as on 3 separate occasions B&Q liaising with the company did not result in a promised call or collection. If you want to avoid hassle do not buy this product.

Not great.
Delivery took 3 weeks, not the 5 working days as specified online when ordered. The product is quite flimsy and not worth the money. Will have to see how long it lasts.

Great once assembled.
I bought this to grow my own, I knew it was self assembly and thought it can't be that hard but had it waiting in my living room over a week for my son to drill holes in it as needed. Would of been far easier if it did come with pre drilled holes for the cost of it! The unit once put together looks amazing painted. It's a good size, sturdy and really great.

Good size- have to use drill to build.
Very deep planter with nice finish. Finally built it after 2 years in my shed and the wood has gone a bit splintery but still looks good. Added a liner but not really necessary as there are very small holes at the bottom.

Really rubbish. Do not buy.
Shoddily put together, some slats not attached, screws sticking out, and two of the pieces were the wrong size. Just asked for a return and refund.

Avoid
Bought 3 of these. Requires to be assembled with a pack containing lots of small screws with no screw holes in timber. Despite using an electric screwdriver the screws just not strong enough to penetrate hard wood. Very poor quality fittings and difficult to assemble.

Good product
We bought two of these veggie planters and they are perfectly good for what we need them for. If you want something more ornamental then perhaps this isn't for you, because the wood is not smoothly planed, but we just want to grow veg in them and aren't concerned with aesthetics. Easy to put together, and all fixings are provided. We were so pleased with them we will be buying a couple more.

Great value planter, better than the reviews
We ordered two different depth planters and are really happy with our purchases. A good price (£130 each), delivered promptly and were easy to build. The reviews appear to only be from people that have had a negative experience - all of our wood pieces were of a decent quality. That said, I would recommend that everyone thoroughly inspect the product they’ve received (with the willing to send it back if they’re unhappy). We never had that though, very satisfied with the wood quality.

This is a great product
Wasn't sure what to expect but bought this and something similar on Amazon (similar price). The B&Q product looks great and takes a huge amount of herbs and we love it. The Amazon product is much smaller and cheapo looking. So happy with B&Q we decided to buy another.
