Wheels Break
TerryMan - 4 months ago
Purchased two of these a while back to pack camping equipment in, they are very large and do the job OK, I say OK and not good for a reason, the wheels take up loads of storage space in the bottom of the boxes, because you have these 4 wheels iside the box it means you do not have a flat bottom so need to pack around them this prevents you getting large deep items in the box. Secondly the wheels are made from brittle plastic and simply push into place after a while they start to break at the axle points and fall off, so far I have 3 broken wheels so one box has no wheels now, thirdly the yellow locking points are held on by 2 holes and then plastic pins that fit in the holes, the plastic bends and the yellow locking bits fall off can be put back on but a pain. Apart from those problems they are cheap and have served the purpose for my needs, they can take a bit of a battering and do not break as long as it is not on the wheel areas. If you want some thing very robust then you will need to pay more money as these are cheap and they are made cheap, good for putting stuff in and leaving in the garage but not so good when it comes to transporting around.
They do move on the wheels quite good when loaded full, mine did not come with the pull along handles but that is how I prefer them, I made my own longer pulls from webbing, longer easier to maneuver and takes up no room. Its the wheels that loose the stars, breaking and taking inside space up.
Good but not quite great

Bought 8 of these. Robust, secure, aesthetically pleasing, good value....only reason I deducted one ⭐️ is because the wheels indent the bottom to such an extent you lose a lot of practical space...but then I’m not too sure how the trunk could have wheels and not impact the storage space...I think I’d rather have a flat bottomed box and buy a luggage trolley to move them around as 99.99% of the time they will stay in situ....storing clobber!
Very fragile!!
