Ok... ish

Bought a couple of year ago and it was ok for first couple of uses. I have since had to tightly tape the 2 main sections together and have now used all cord and I can't seem to find any replacement... not happy.
Excellent

Bought this to tackle a very overgrown blackberry bush. The blade attachment has been brilliant, cut through it all easily! Very impressed, great machine for the price. Easily put together, just follow the instructions. Would highly recommend.
Good but design not robust enough

It's good but the guard needs to be built with nut attached to bolts as vibration can loosen bolts over time resulting in guard getting broke by blade. The attachmemt with the steel button needs to be replaced with steel bolts it's a poor design flaw. Other wise it's a good product.
Instructions not clear

After an hour trying to assemble the guard I found that the nut wouldnt go in. Had to improvise as I wasnt travelling 20miles to take it back. Instructions not very easy to follow.
The blade works perfect on brambles etc not on grass. So tried the strimmer head. Does a brilliant job until it snaps, which it does quite often.
Possibly worth the money looking at other equipment then it's cheap.
Potential unfulfilled

Like another reviewer, this brushcutter was terrific when first assembled and made short work of some bamboo and thick brambles. However after 20 minutes use, lubricant seemed to leak from the interface between the two sections of handle and the entire cutting head began to rotate. Fortunately the splendid chaps at B&Q provided a full refund without any quibble, acknowledging there had been a number of issues with this model. There’s clearly (based on my experience and other reviews) an issue regarding structural integrity and if this could be resolved, this would be a terrific product.
