The legend2 - 1 year ago

....I was reluctant to buy. Purchased in 'lockdown', so did not do my usual careful checks for 'straightness' in store, but as soon as I arrived home, I noticed the twist. I suggest you lay the door on the shop floor and check this before purchased, impossible to tell really in the 'shrink wrap'. Anyway went ahead to fit.

Followed instructions and applied primer, before hanging, Also asks you to apply top coats, but did not do this as I thought it would only get scratched.

Cut hinge 'cutouts', (used 3 hinges) and lock recess, the 3 hinges, helped pull the door straight and also added a security bolt in the edge to help pull the bottom into line. All and all, with this method, the door is hanging quite well and now finished with 3 top coats. Fitted a weather board to bottom of door, as although, it has not rained since, so time will tell!

Really happy given the bargain cost.
