• A beautiful colour mix of yellows of every shade. Succession flowering in waves of golden yellow from late spring with the California poppy until well into the autumn with the Garden Tickseed.
• Flowering Period: Jun to November. Annuals only. Ideal sowing rate is 3-5g per square metre/yard. Shake packet before use, to provide a good mix of flowers. As sowing seeds in small quantities is difficult, consider using GardenPrime Bulking Granules. These naturally biodegradable corn skin granules make it easier to spread evenly, and helps prevent wasting expensive wildflower seeds.
• Gardenprime 100% Wildflower Seed is well suited to a range of soil types and environments including gardens, schools, golf courses and public green spaces. Land that is completely shaded or enclosed by trees should be avoided. Most species included in the GardenPrime range of mixes require full, or at least half, sunlight to flourish. In addition, while the species selected demonstrate resistance to drought, some moisture will need to be present for them to thrive.
• Sowing of GardenPrime 100% Wildflower Seeds should ideally take place in the spring, when the soil is warm and moist enough to encourage germination. Late March or early April are optimal, however late spring frosts should be avoided. Sowing can then take place right through until the end of June.
• GardenPrime 100% Wildflower mixtures require little maintenance - they do not need watering, feeding or treating with pesticides. The small ecosystem they create when established will sustain the species and allow them to thrive freely. For mixtures containing Biennials and Perennials such as Biodiversity and Honeybee and Butterfly that are to be kept for more than one year, cut back and collect all the top growth before the next spring. Hand weed or spot treat any undesirable species.
