We purchased this door last month and it should never been signed off to leave the factory! On installation we soon realised the locking mechanism was faulty and on removing it, it had been screwed through in the factory! B&Q have been useless, they couldn’t care less. One month after installing a door that we have had to secure as best we could, we finally got sent a new lock..... again, it’s faulty!!! I have given up because I’m truly fed up of hearing “but the door was fit for purpose if you’ve installed it”. No, it couldn’t be further from fit for purpose. We will get it rectified elsewhere.
Waste of money

Bought this to replace an old wooden door, had it 11 months and has never worked properly. There is nothing wrong with the fitting as the issues have been with the doors locking mechanism. I've already had to replace the key barrel as that was poorly made and the key got jammed, the door still wont lock as clearly some issue with the gearbox given I can turn the key to lock it but when the handle is pushed down the door opens again. Not fit for purpose - would advise spending a bit more on something that will last. B&Q also no help, just advised to contact the supplier so am waiting on a response from them.....

The door I bought looked like it had been opened but so did most so I picked the best looking one. Once I got it home and unpackaged I noticed there was some holes in the frame like it had been fitted before, I also noticed that the door didn't open freely in the frame but I thought once fitted this might be easy to adjust.
I removed the door from the frame and secured the frame into my opening, I then fitted the door but the hinges are virtually useless when it comes to adjustment, the instructions show three levels of adjustment when there is actually only two and the allen keys provided only fit the top hinge, the middle and bottom are completely un-adjustable, not only with the allen key provided, no allen key will fit, it doesn't seem mohave been manufactured to the correct size/shape.
It wouldn't be a bad for if the hinges were better, also note it doesn't come with handles, a sill or a barrel. The barrel size required is 90mm (45/45) 6 pin.
