We spent four hours trying to get this to click together, after the four hours of torture and nearly getting divorced we returned it for a refund. By following the instructions it chips the top layer of laminate so we used the slide it together technique but then it just slides out when you do the next board.

Looks lovely but chips easily

Recently laid this flooring, it looks lovely but was disappointed at the quality of it particularly while putting it down as bits kept flaking/ chipping off the edges really easily (like the surface of the laminate is too delicate/ paper-like)... not had this problem with another laminate flooring

Resistant to scratches, easy to install & stunning

I needed a hardwearing floor for my bedroom as I have a daybed that pulls out into a double. Due to the storage drawers underneath, the bed is pretty heavy and would drag along the floor, hence my need for a floor that wouldn't scuff or scratch easily. So far, this has been brilliant. I'm a 22 year old female, with no professional labour experience other than the regular DIY, and I found this straightforward to lay and cut effortlessly with a jigsaw on my own. Some of the pieces were a little harder to join, whilst some just fell into place - but that could be my technique or the fact that I didn't wait 48hrs with the boards in room temp before laying (I'm pretty impatient and laid them early in the morning after being in a cold car all night - oops). I laid the floor with my furniture in place as I didn't want to dismantle, yet shuffling and dragging said furniture around didn't cause any damages to the floor - which included my bed, wardrobe and desk, which was pretty impressive. The overall look is beautiful, and compliments my white on white scandinavian style decor. Beautiful finish and I only had 1 corner chip whilst laying, but it's very discrete due to the almost rustic finish of the oak design. Beautiful floor and very happy!

Quality floor, very good price

I found this fairly easy to lay after sorting out my technique as it was slightly different from the last time I laid flooring in my living room 15 years ago! The old stuff was straightforward tongue and groove,no clicking. The internet then wasn't as well developed as it is now because last time I picked out flooring I liked & just bought it whereas this time I liked a few different ones but was deterred by some really poor reviews. I needn't have worried with this as it's a very good looking floor, no damaged planks, no warping and no problems :)
