Dream bathroom project almost ruined

B&Q designed me a lovely bathroom and this enclosure was what they chose. All seemed perfect until it came to fitting. My fitters ended up with broken cams everywhere and had to buy better ones. The enclosure does not fit the tray, and certainly does not adjust up to 25mm as stated. B&Q advised the splashwall is at fault as it should have been installed down to the floor first with the tray installed onto it afterwards, however as I understand it this is most definitely *not* how you fit it in the real world. It begins to overhang on the bend, getting to a significant 5mm before coming back into shape on the other side. I was at the point of cutting my losses and living with it, until I found it leaking all over. It puddles on the floor from the parts that overhang and even worse have found my new plasterboard getting a watermark on one of the corners, further investigation shows the profile is warped on this corner. My fitters were going to try and put it right a 3rd time after 2 previous attempts to fit the thing, but I'm so unhappy with this now we agreed to write it off and they are now fitting an alternative enclosure they have provided. Avoid this at all costs, in fact I'd probably not buy B&Q's own GoodHome brand ever again.

This shower cubical has caused me a lot of heart and head ache. I’ve recently priced a job up for a customer to fit one with some b and a splash boards and tray, I spent the best part of a day fitting it to the manufacturers instructions, and have been called back non4 times to leaks, I’ve never! Had problems with other cubical. It’s a shame as it looks great. In all honesty, I’ve had to reimburse my customer f9r the whole price of the bathroom refit due to this been a poor fit and me being too nice. It doesn’t even seem to sit on the tray b and q sent with it, hangs off on one side.

Not diyer but in trade over 20yrs. I have never had any issues fitting. This enclosure however i have had to take out and refit 3 times due to leaking like a sieve. I was told they had changed design to make it easier. Not so.
The cams that hold it together are awful. And you have to literally silicone EVERYWHERE to stop it leaking.
Showers should be sealed on outside only to allow all water to flow back inside. I was told to silicone inside and outside around trims glass rubbers etc. Ridiculous.
Stear clear of this product.
Deffinitely NOT DIY for me!

Having installed a similar shower enclosure, from B & Q, a few years back without any problems installing it, I committed to buy this one.
Not realising the extra weight with the thicker glass, even with the assistance of a installer, the task became so difficult I have had to resort to a repurchase from another supplier.
Obviously being unpacked and as the store confirmed, it is not returnable unless it can be resold as new ?? a lesson learnt. :-(
