GoodHome Matt Brilliant White Floor & Stair Paint is a durable, washable solution for refreshing your interior surfaces. The added scratch and abrasion resistance means it will survive the heavy traffic suffered on your floors and stairs. It can also be cleaned using household cleaning products, meaning the colour will stay looking fresher for longer. Suitable for use on wood (bare, varnished, painted), laminate, ceramic and stone tiles.

• Surface Preparation - Preparation of the surface is essential to achieve a good result. Surfaces must be clean and dry. To prepare floor tiles, remove mould with a mould cleaner, wash with a soda based cleaner then rinse thoroughly. It’s important to focus on the grout. Remove any silicone sealant before painting, you can re-seal after applying the paint . For previously painted tiles, ensure any loose or flaking paint is sanded and removed. To prepare new or bare wood, lightly sand and remove any dust then seal knots. Apply an appropriate undercoat to exotic and high tannin woods (oak).To prepare laminate, varnished or painted wood, wash with a soda based cleaner e.g. sugar soap, rinse then leave to dry. Lightly sand the varnished or painted floor in good condition and remove dust. On painted or varnished surfaces in bad condition: sand back to the original surface and remove dust. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation.
• Instructions for Use - Remove the additive sachet from the lid, carefully pour the whole packet into the paint and stir thoroughly for 2 minutes making sure you are working around the bottom of the tin. For best results, at least 2 coats are recommended using a brush or foam roller. Leave to dry for approximately 8 hours between coats, do not try to rework whilst the paint is drying. Apply between 10°C and 25°C. This pot will cover approximately 9 m². Once additive is mixed into the paint, it must be used within 7 days. Allow 10 days for the paint to fully cure. During this time treat your new paintwork with extra care, gently wiping any spills or liquids from the paint immediately.
• Instructions for Storage - Remove as much paint as possible from your equipment. Clean brushes and rollers with soapy water. Do not dispose of the cleaning water down the drain. Store your leftover paint in a dry environment between 5°C and 25°C and protect from frost.
