Nice item but complicated fitting.
I bought this as it matched my laminate floor. I thought at £10 it was on the expensive side but it is well made with a nice finnish. The method of fitting it with the screws and plates provided was far too complicated for me so I just used No Nails which worked perfectly.

Good match for the Goodhome grey laminate flooring
This is a good trim when fitted properly. I made the mistake of having drilled the 6mm holes into the concrete floor, I did not vacuum out the drill dust from the holes completely. Consequently when the securing pegs are connected to the trim and hammered home into the holes, they would not seat fully due to dust build up at the bottom of the hole. As the pegs grip the inside of the holes they cannot be removed to have another go. I therefore had to bend the trim up to pull it away from the pegs and cut the pegs flush with the floor before drilling new holes and buying another trim! Just make sure you completely remove all dust!

Looking smart
I bought this threshold to put them between a kitchen and a hallways joining two different types of floor - laminate flooring and and vinyl flooring. I was seeking something looking smart and not shiny. And I found this. Easy to fit and the price is pretty good.

Does the job perfectly
Looks lovely in all my thresholds from carpet to wooden flooring and tile to wooden flooring. They were easy to cut down and didn’t take long to fit. Only downside is they have plastic screws so have to make Sure you are not too heavy handed when fitting them.

Looks great!
After reading the bad reviews we weren’t confident that it would work but glad we took our chances as it looks great! Easy size, cut and fit. Can only assume the bad reviews are from heavy-handed diy-ers. We used both short and long threshold sizes for 3 rooms between ceramic tiles and carpet as well as vinyl flooring and comes up a treat! No unsightly screws, modern finish snd great price value too!
