Product information

GoodHome multi-surface paint is great for creating a co-ordinated colour palette throughout your home. It is versatile and can be used on many different surfaces such as interior cabinets, wardrobes, radiators, domestic appliances, wall panelling, tiles, wood and laminate flooring. This paint is also safe for use on toys

  • Cupboard doors & drawers: Remove them from the units and lay on a horizontal surface. Floor & tiles: Remove any silicone sealant before painting. You can re-seal after applying the paint and remove mould with a mould cleaner. Wood: Remove wax, oil and seal knots on untreated wood. Fill any holes with a wood filler. Wash your surface with a soda based cleaner and then rinse thoroughly. It should be clean & dry before painting. Ensure any loose particles are removed
  • Stir thoroughly before use. Apply between 10 and 25°С, for best results at least 2 coats are recommended using a brush or roller. Allow 10 days for paint to fully cure. During this time treat your new paintwork with extra care, gently wiping any spills or liquids from the paint immediately.
  • Clean equipment in warm soapy water.

Lovely colour but shame about the quality and finish of the product. £44 down the drain time wasted and I have to start all over again. Just could not get the finish even after three coats.

Terrible

The worst paint I've ever used; viscose and gloopy. Every roller/brush marks shows and doesn't disappear when it dries. Had to do three coats as the paint came off the tiles on the edges after one coat (after 48 hours drying). Wish I'd never bought it!
Oh, I nearly forgot… the colour is also off, it's more royal blue than the colour on the tin. Horrible.

Horrendous

I bought this and was very pleased. Lovely colour and consistency. Ran out of paint for last kitchen door so bought a second tin. Completely different colour, very thick consistency so you can see every brush mark and paint seperates within a few minutes. Very different to the 1st tin i bought. Now my kitchen is a mess and having to start again. B&Q customer service were absolutely horrendous. I am so disgusted with how they treated me that i will never shop at the company again

Love the colour

It’s a beautiful blue colour. The paint needs getting used to. Yes you need to stir it. I also found it a bit too think so it is best applied with a wet brush. I love the satin finish on the furniture.

Paint simply won’t stay on

I bought this for my first furniture upcycle project.
I sanded down and primed my piece ready for application. The paint does need stirring which seems like a pretty obvious step, when applying it’s soo thick I used more than have the tin for my first layer alone..
after 3 coats ive finally finished, the colour is lovely my first upcycle is a success.. or not!
Reassembling the cabinet alone I ended up with so many chips to my paint, every time I look there’s yet another piece of paint that has chipped off! (And yes I left it to thoroughly dry) I would upload more photos of chipped paint however this seems to be the only patch I’ve not yet covered back up
