FAB coverage, but very smelly

We bought a house with a huge bathroom, tiled on the floor/ walls with awful purple/ black/ brown tiles (darker than flash makes it look). Didn't have the budget to re-tile it so paint it was.
VERY impressed with this paint, as you can see from the photo even 1 coat covered very dark tiles really well, though I did 2 coats.
I know the paint tin says matt but there is a faint sheen which is quite nice.
1 tin used up on the 1st coat, luckily I had 2! Used a slightly fleecy roller.
Only warning is it really does smell, much more/ longer than emulsion etc. We had all doors and windows in house open as much as possible to try and air it out, luckily had 3 hot days but now it's cooler it still stinks, slightly less than before but with a sweet undertone. Am hoping that when its 10-day 'curing' period is up it will have stopped...
Youngest had to have a bath the first evening and the paint was already waterproof tho it does say to wipe off water for 1st 10 days.
Sounds like you may have to chuck the paint after 10 days from adding the liquid mixer in, as it 'cures', so will see if that means it goes off, shame as would mean any scratches can't be repainted - I did scratch a bit wedging some tile offcuts into the window frame to make a new plinth but they covered up perfectly.
VERY happy, 2 days work to completely brighten a huge dark tiled bathroom.
Amazing durable product

I bought this as I could t afford new tiles, and was a little sceptical at first. However, it went on easily with a gloss roller, and then I used a grout pen afterwards. Make sure you leave to cure for 10 days before wiping. It’s been up for 3 months now and I’ve used cleaning products and its been splashed with water etc and it’s really tough! I’m so happy I bought it as it’s saved me a fortune! Definitely recommend.

I bought this product, as I was seeking a grey tile paint makeover on a budget and was sold by others uploads and colour expectations. The colour is what it states on the tin. Once you wipe down the tiles, cut in the edges and foam roll you get a really clean finish. Do allow it a few hours to dry and then go over it again. Exceeded expectations and I'm really happy with the outcome..

I struggled to find a grey which didnt have blue tones. Long Island was perfect. More of a stoney grey which was just what I needed. Easy to apply and did need two coats but first coat dried quite quickly.
Excellent for the 2cnd time of using

Done my kitchen in the bronx first.and then my bathroom in the Long Island. And all I can say is wow what a transformation.just as long as you clean tiles well beforehand.and mix it properly and use a foam roller for 2 coats.the results speak for themselves
