Great bedroom !

Purchased flooring before Christmas and removed packaging . Mixed the bundles separately to avoid shading . Two weeks later I laid the first row over standard plastic wood underlay ,packing the edge with cork . Cramped gently to the centre of the room and screwed the centre strips with self coloured plugs . The floor is laid on existing badly marked pine floorboards . Continued to the opposite edge of the room and packed again 10mm cork strips . If there is any future movement , the centre strips will be unscrewed and the flooring adjusted . Absolutely great floor with the usual defects of pine , as in any natural products . The only slight disappointment is the dark pine colour , as the floor abuts a natural pine floor , bought many years ago from BandQ!
Good quality, looks great, fantastic value

It's pine, so not the hardest wearing, but it's 20mm thick, solid planks with tongue and groove edges, so could be sanded down and re-finished endlessly.
It was only £25/sq m, so fantastic value, and we're very happy with the result! Only disappointment was we had to wait for several weeks to take delivery.
The tongue and groove planks fit together as you'd expect, and on a concrete floor - provided it's perfectly level and smooth - was fairly easy to install on cork underlay, without needing to be attached to the concrete in any way.
Occasionally in my B&Q packs I got a plank that wasn't completely straight. The slightest warp makes them unusable, without leaving big gaps that then get worse with each new row subsequently added. So quality in the manufacture seems to be important, but the small number of fails was acceptable in a natural product. Testing fit without gluing is wise, to avoid being committed to a dodgy one.
I like the knotty nature of these planks. The really expensive stuff has perfectly straight grain, but to my mind they're just too perfect and look rather like laminate to my eye.
Anyway... very happy with the result and would recommend! We've celebrated by buying a second hand, retro 70s chair and a rug to go with it!
LOOKS GOOD WHEN DOWN

LOVED THE LOOK OF IT IN STORE SO PURCHASED 13 PACKS LEFT IT TO LAY FLAT IN ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR A WEEK FIRST PACK OPENED 2 BOARDS WERE WARPED SO JUST PUT THEM TO ONE SIDE AND USED FOR OFFCUTS SOME PIECES DIDN'T BUTT UP TIGHTLY BUT CURED THE GAP BY BUYING A OAK MASTIC THE NEAREST COLOUR TO THE FLOOR AND YOU CANNOT TELL . VERY EASY TO WORK WITH IF YOU HAVE THE TOOLS TO DO IT BUT IS TIME CONSUMING
Love it

Bought this for my hall and kitchen , if I’d read the reviews first probably wouldn’t have bought it , only down side to it is my puppy as put some scratches on it by the door where she runs in from outside
Very happy with my floor

My new floor looks great. Had to do loads of prep in my old cottage grinding out humps in the sub floor then self leveling screed. But now I am really chuffed with it, I love the knots it has real character, really good vfm .
