This flooring should only be laid by a professional with the proper equipment.
The sub floor needs to be perfectly flat and damp free, to less than 1mm, if the subfloor is not then it needs to be levelled by a professional. If laying over floor boards then the floor needs to be over boarded with ply and a bitumen moisture barrier laid. You need to use the correct underlay for lvt not the standard laminate floor underlay. All joints need to be rolled as they are laid. I have laid hundreds of square meters of this flooring and not had any problems. This is a fantastic product and if installed correctly then should last for many years.
DON’T BUY THIS

Laying this is a nightmare. It’s like fitting squares into circular pegs. Typical B&Q quality.
Now looking at the reviews and they should have stopped selling this years ago.
Do not buy this product.

I bougth his product 1 year ago and paid for it to be professionally laid.
Less than 5 months after we started having problems which was unexpected given the cost of the item.
The flooring was laid under our skirting to was not laid too tight and the work man came back to have a look. He recommended contacting the supplier as there is a clear fault with the product.
IT has cracker in numerous places, lifted in parts and all together poor quality.
Take a look at the pictures.

I bought this product 2weeks ago and fitted as per instructions
The floor is already lifting on the joints in several places on the long joints mainly
When I fitted it , it looked really good
But today terrible ,that is just on 2weeks with no use to the flooring
Avoid buying this product at all costs

I really don’t understand why there are so many negative responses to this flooring. This is the first time I’ve ever laid a floor and I can genuinely say that as long as you take your time and have the correct tools, then this flooring is very easy to put together.
Tools needed:- hammer, NEW Stanley blade, and something flat to hammer the edges down (softly)
