Gave 2 Stars but only because it is compost! Cheap compost at £4.70 per 50l but it is CHEAP! Don't know why I even looked at 'economising', usually buy Westland with added John Innes (still don't know what John Innes has added though) at £5.95 per 50l - a whole £1.25 more but I don't have to mind my fingers on sharp bits and or twigs (hawthorn even) and I will stick to this, only, in future.

Pleased with this

I'm glad I didn't read reviews before I purchased 4 bags of this because I probably wouldn't have bothered but I must say I am very pleased with the quality especially as the price is so reasonable too.

Great product - as expected

It met my expectations for the price. I did find some small pieces of plastic in one of the bags, also noted in other reviews. However, I think this says more about the state of our environment and human behavior rather than the product itself. It's near impossible in today's world to buy bagged compost and not find something in it - regardless of brand or price. Our planet is just too polluted :(

Bought 2 bags of this so called compost, had to use a garden sieve to get rid of the many stones, twigs etc. After sieving the 2 x 50L bags I ended up with half a bag of stones twigs etc. How can B&Q sell rubbish like this.

AVOID!!!!!!’

Lots of small bits of plastic

Was very disappointed with how much plastic was in the bags of soil improver. Had tipped the bag over the area and started to spread out when I realised. Definitely Won’t be buying again.
