Good value paint

Very happy with this paint it was used to paint panelling which already had a good undercoat. This had good coverage and a slight sheen. Very good value I would purchase again.

Good - consistent colour & coverage

I have used this paint to update my white internal doors. The paint provides an even coat with consistent colour after sufficient shaking and stirring prior to use. The paint adheres to lightly sanded surfaces well. Being water based, the cleanup is easy and any spills can be wiped clean. The finish once dry is of high quality and fairly durable to knocks and damage. Three cans covered 6 doors with 2 coats.

Love this shade and project!

I decided to upscale some pictures frames which were about ready for the charity bag. I'm glad I waited, we have quite abit of grey in our house so this shade Princeton was absolutely perfect. Really easy to apply, non drip, stunning slate grey. Really happy with the end result. I will now need to do others I have left lying around.

Stick to the quality stuff!

First of all I thought this paint was black. It isn’t, it’s more an industrial grey when dry. The paint seems quite oily compared to some satins I have used in the past and didn’t seem to apply great compared to others. I prepped the areas to be painted by giving them a rough sand down and paint the satin on. Even though the area was prepped the satin pooled in some places and seemed more like a gloss than a satin. Looked ok going on so I gave it the benefit of the doubt, however once it had dried I thought it looked terrible. Visible drip marks, the colour wasn’t great and now I’m miffed as I’m going to have to buy some more paint to sort it out. The satin seems to chip easily once dry too, which it does dry quickly so I did like that. Would I purchase this again, no I wouldn’t. I also really don’t like the colour so that has put me off unfortunately.

Fast drying

I used this paint to upcycle my furniture that I got from a charity shop , i really love the colour and the texture of the paint once dried . The paint was really easy to apply not only that I was impressed of how fast it dried ! I only had to use once coat for this as it is good covarage.

Thick instant coverage

Had the chance to review the good home wood and metal paint in Princeton which was a slate grey shade. When using the product it is a super thick consistency and one swipe and it gave the colour on the wood instantly. It didnt have any strong odour like some paint can give. The drying time didnt take too long around 2 to 3 hours between the two coat that it says on the tin.

Great stuff

I recently used this Good home Wood & Metal Satin Finish paint on a few radiators and some wooden furniture, in the patio and garden. I’m very impressed. The brilliant colour is crisp and even, giving a professional-looking finish. The non-drip formula makes application smooth and stress-free, and it dries quickly in 1–2 hours, which is perfect when working on multiple pieces. I also appreciate the low odour, making it much more pleasant than other paints I’ve used in the past. Coverage is excellent — about 8m² per litre — and the water-based formula makes clean-up easy. Overall, it’s a high-quality paint that delivers great results with minimal hassle. I’ll definitely be using it for future projects.
