I've had this installed as part of a B&Q kitchen, and these lights are amazing. They replace the bottom of your cupboard, so you get light downwards onto your work surface, as well as upwards into the cupboard.

Wave your hand under once to turn on warm white, again to turn to cool white, and again to turn off.

Two things to note, if you have something bright underneath, it doesn't always see your hand against the background, and secondly, steam from kettles and pans can make it sense motion, but it is motion sensitive, so it's what I expected.

5 starts and would use again. Not sure why all the other negative reviews, they are motion sensor lights, so that means they could possibly pick up on motion from stuff other than you hand!

So much better than fluorescent lights or LED self adhesive strips.

Really wish I would have read the reviews first spent a lot of money on a new kitchen with these lights, 2 of them are not working, so have to take my kitchen apart to sort them out. What would have been a nice idea has turned out to be an absolute nightmare.

Sounded like a good idea when i ordered my new Kitchen. Wrong !!
Firstly you cannot remove or replace Light without removing fully which means removing Cabinet from Wall. Worse, is the bottom of unit is plastic and you cannot use a Kettle or Toaster underneath-It Melts !
Nowhere does it say this on instructions.
Almost a good idea-with Technology and Testing in this Day and Age, i am surprised !
Do not buy !

Very poor, avoid

Guaranteed for 10 years, I fitted 5 of these cabinet lights into my new kitchen only to find when I switched them on one didn't work, 1 flickered then stopped working and 2 smoked and burnt out within 2 minutes, oñe still works though, Great!! Avoid these, good idea but spent £180 for nothing, B&Q customer services will let me know within 72 hrs what they can do now I am unable to destroy my new kitchen removing them.

Too temperamental and prone to faults

Great idea but they aren't reliable. Within 24 hours of fitting these in my new kitchen, the white light on one of them wasn't working and then it was flickering on another one. AS they form part of the unit, unless you are prepared to dismantle your new cupboards, you're stuck with them. I have disconnected them and am going to get strip lighting. Very, very disapppointing.
