When you've just painted your walls it would be a shame to leave the finishing touches. So we've created GoodHome wood and metal interior paint. Durable and long-lasting paint in matching colours to our walls and ceiling paint. A mid sheen satin finish, perfect for painting your skirtings, doors and window frames.
- Suitable for use on Metal & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - Surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Before painting on bare wood or metal, use a suitable primer. Painted glossy surfaces should be rubbed down with a fine abrasive paper. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation. Metal surfaces should be free from rust and corrosion. Knots in wood surfaces should be treated with a knotting solution. Fill any holes or defects with filler
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. Apply using a brush or foam roller, when the temperature is between 10°C and 25°C
- Instructions for Storage - Store your leftover paint between 5°С and 30°С. Best used within 1 year of opening

A little on the thin side
Paint is pretty odourless, requires mixing well to blend from an initial grey colour in the tin. However, rather thin when applied. Back colours/surfaces grin through. Requires at least two coats.

absolutely shocking
having bought 6 tins of 750ml of this paint every single tin was a different colour / shade do not and i repeat do not buy b&q own brand paint totally shocking

You have to stir for really long time
If you stir for 10 minutes then the colour does turn more like shown on the tin otherwise it comes out blue grey. But I have managed to up cycle my old kitchen door… before and after photo attached

Wish i had read the reviews !
On the 3rd coat & another coupe hours of my life wasted.Still needs another coat, even though my missus saysdont bother as its not the colour on the tin.Its not as if it was even cheap.Do yourself a favour & avoid this poo !

Disappointed
I have used this product so many times in different colours and never had a problem. However since the packaging has changed, so has the quality. I'm on my third coat and can still see the white underneath. Such a shame that they've clearly changed the ingredients to cheaper alternatives and it really shows.

Transparent coat
I bought for some doors and used white undercoat and rubbed down. The tin on opening was a grey colour and i thought the colour label was wrong. After a long time stirring a streak of lighter colour came up and gradually the right colour mixed up. The paint is so thin almost transparent to show undercoat through. It required 3 coats to achieve an even opaque finish using a foam roller as a brush was useless. Better to buy a quality one coat brand name if you can get the colour choice

This product is great!
I was really skeptical about buying this product because of all the negative reviews about it being blue, but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. And I was not disappointed! When you initially open the tin of paint, its is very blue and quite alarming, you need to mix the paint thoroughly for 3-4 minutes so that the advertised paint colour comes through. You just have to trust the process. The final colour is just amazing and I love it. The product goes a long way also. I bought two tins and it was enough for my chest of drawers and two bedside tables.

Comes out purple
I thought it was the wrong colour in the tin when I opened it. Stirred it for a very long time. Painted the top of our doorway and decided to stop there. Looks like a purple grey, doesn't look like the colour on the tin at all. Coverage is also shocking.

Beautiful coverage on skirting
Absolutely love this colour. Used on untreated skirting and door frame. 2 coats and looks great.
