This GoodHome Ultra Cover Paint is our highest opacity paint, covering most surfaces in one coat with a thick & smooth matt finish.

- Suitable for use on Wall & ceilings
- Surface Preparation - New plaster or plasterboard should be sealed with a plaster sealer. For non-powdery surfaces or to cover contrasting colours, prepare with a walls and ceilings primer. Treat mould with a mould cleaner. Painted surfaces should be sanded, clean and dry. Fill any holes or defects with filler. When sanding, wear a face mask to avoid dust inhalation.

A great emulsion paint
Repainted mainly the ceilings throughout the house using a brush and roller. This paint is thick so if you don't overload the brush or roller does not drip. The roller can be a bit difficult to roll in the tray as the paint is so thick, but it goes on easily to the prepared surfaces in one coat. Washing the tools afterwards in warm water is straight forward. 10litres was more than we needed but when you compare the unit prices of the various sizes it was a good deal. I would recommend this paint.

Great coverage, but dries too quickly
I just bought a flat and the walls were not looking their best, so I was looking for something that would allow me to refresh everything without needing to spend multiple days painting. I was able to get full coverage on the light beige walls with just one coat. The red wall and the dark green wall took two coats, which I was very impressed with. The paint is thick and does dry very fast, so if you look closely, you can definitely see the paint strokes around the edges, as there just isn't enough time to blend that in, unless you work on very small sections at a time. I would also say that, because it is so thick, you end up using a lot of paint even with just one coat. I'm not very experienced with decorating, so I'm sure you could make it last a bit longer.

Better than expected.
Was a bit wary about using, as dulux Trade is my usual go to emulsion, but pleasantly surprised. Went on well, next to no splatter from the roller. Needs two coats over darker colours, but that's to be expected. Dries back with smooth with no roller marks or shadows. Really pleased with Finnish. Only 4 stars due to price being more than just feel it should . Would use again.

Great paint
Bought to cover a very dark blue and did the trick. Needed 2 coats but would have needed a lot more if we had used another paint

Good home Ultra Cover White Matt Emulsion
I bought this product last month because I didn’t want to have to paint my wall twice, I was looking for a paint that only needed one coat and this did not disappoint. It was a little more expensive but worth it as it saved me a lot of time and energy.
