I too am very disappointed with the poor quality "click" joints. Even more saddened because having laid traditional laminate flooring in 6 other rooms, the vinyl product is a delight to use in comparison.

What ostensibly looks like a very nice floor, walking on it causes several of the click joints to lift up and open, despite using the correct B&Q supplied underlay.

As an engineer, I am keen to assess jointing mechanisms and it looked quite good, but one needs to be very kind and gentle when making the short sides click - using the minimum effort to ease them into place. Heavy whacking with a rubber mallet will damage the joints.

My problem is that after 2 days I now have several joints which look dreadful and can be seen from a distance and one especially is in the centre of the room. To replace it I will have to lift up 50-60 tiles. The bad news is that lifting tiles weakens the short-sided click joint and means the tiles cannot really be reliably used again.

The issue is that despite being exceptionally thin, there is sufficient vertical movement in the underlay to cause the tiles to deflect and the joints to break open.

Unfortunately there is no manufacturer information available. During a discussion with a very helpful chap on the help-line, all he was able to do was more or less repeat what is on the box, for he only had the same information. All he could discover is that the product is imported from China Wood Floor, which I suspect is just a huge co-operative operating out of Shanghai.

As angi74 says, there is a 12 year guarantee so I suspect there will be much dialogue between myself and B & Q.

Not good at all

Purchased at end of June 2017, fitted by professionals in July 2017, paid £840 for the flooring and £1100 to builders to level floor prior to fitting and fit flooring within two weeks you could start to see that the ends had started to come away from each other, the click isn’t good enough, would not recommend at all and after reading other reviews of same flooring but different pattern on her it seems to be a known fault with this flooring, been in touch with customer services because this flooring has a 12 year warranty and started looking awful after just two weeks
