This Black gloss metal spray paint has been specially designed to give a durable and long-lasting finish on a range of surfaces. Simply spray and leave for 4-6 hours to dry - a great way to give the surfaces additional protection. Covers 7m² per litre on average.

Does the job
I bought this to touch up the metal fencing and it does what it needs to do.

Not impressed.
It dried with a white mist effect all over it. Didn't stick to prepped metal either. Was twice the price of other local diy shop. What a waste of time and money.

It is what it is! used hammerite for years. Gives good protection.

Good item terrible price
Item is good although runs out quickly but b&q charge DOUBLE everywhere else you can get as low as 7/8 pound on google 10er on amazon b&q still over charge for everything greedy company and bad quality wood which is also over priced

Waste of money
Followed the instructions to the tee, hours of prep but after drying the pain comes off as soon as it's touched. I feel I've been miss sold.

Doesn't harden properly
I left my 'finished' parts for 4 days and they were still soft. I pulled the manufacturer's spec sheet and, surprise, surprise, it doesn't say how long it takes to fully harden. Because they know it doesn't?? Fortunately, my parts and the jig I built to paint them on would fit in my kitchen oven, so I waited until the missus was out and baked them for 4 hours at 120*

Does what it says on the can
Very pleased with this product. So much quicker and better finish overall than when I did the same job with a brush - I used the silver colour for my garden table and chairs. It took 3 cans for a couple of coats but this would probably depend on the design and how you spray, my furniture has a lot of scrolls and lattice on the table and seats.
