D-Bond non-structural plywood

No rating specified on these sheets, but these are likely D-bond non-structural plywood given how the plys are coming apart. A or B-bond structural plywoods which use stronger glues are more resistant to temperature changes, humidity, stresses from load bearing, etc.
Hardwood ply sheet.

This is nowhere near 5mm thick.
They should be fined for false representation.

Paper thin veneer falls off as I'm sawing leaving the edges splintered and missing veneer. Very disappointed after moving 5 panels to find 2 usable ones. At least staff are friendly and helpful, would have gone elsewhere were it not for the cutting service.

Bought this marked as 12mm thick after cutting to required size for fitting discovered it is only 10mm ...ended up in the skip waste of my hard earned money
Just check the thickness

I bought a sheet recently in what is probably the major store in Sheffield. I looked at a number of sheets in store before buying, because I thought they looked thin despite being clearly labelled 5mm. When I measured it accurately at home with a micrometer the sheet was approximately 20% smaller than it should have been with a thickness of 4.1 - 4.2 mm. On telephoning the store the lady I was speaking to was advised by a colleague that all the boards were undersized and there none in stock that were actually 5mm thick.! But the thin boards were still on sale.
My complaint was passed on to the Store Manager but I have still had the courtesy of being contacted. So much for Customer Service in store.
My advice is to have the means with you to accurately check the thickness of plywood..Having pre-cut slots for drawer bottoms I now have a problem
