Banging noise every 15 seconds
Brand new washing machine which makes a loud clunking noise every 15 seconds on the drying cycle. It's so loud, we ran downstairs and unplugged the machine when we first heard it. A very quick Google says this happens across loads of Hotpoint washer/dryers and amazingly isn't a fault despite loads of people complaining. Had to be unplumbed and returned as the noise was genuinely too much to live with.

Versatile and easy to use, power consumption is ok
Had this for about 4 weeks now, & we are very happy with it, it is quiet, plenty of different washes, beeps to let you know when it has finished, easy to read lcd display and a very quiet dryer cycle.
