Not up to Hozelock's usual standard

I bought this kit about two weeks ago and used the hose for the first time today. As soon as water was admitted (my mains pressure is fairly low) the hose swelled to about 1.5 times it's normal diameter over a third of it's length and 5 minutes later began to leak in many places. I have used Hozelock products for many years without any problems until today. Is this kit now being made in China? I could not return the hose to the store because I had already cut off a few metres for another purpose.

Recently bought this product and wasn't sure how good it would be due to the price. It was easy to attach and worked great. Definitely great value for money.

Excellent and does the job. Just have to remember that it can twist and block the water from flowing. This can be avoided by having it out fully without risk of knots

I bought it a while back to water the plants and few other things. Its good value for the price... Need to be mindful of the twists as it can block the water flow.

I bought this hose to extend the reach to the very top of my garden as the one I use most days doesn't stretch quite that far. I just plug it in when needed, and store it when I don't.
