It is one of the few woods in the world containing a natural oil which repels water, keeping it from warping, cracking or becoming brittle. Teak is pest resistant, and it's low maintenance, making it a very strong and long-lasting worktop. When new, Teak wood furniture has a honey brown colour. Over time it will age naturally into an elegant patina grey. Teak can be so gorgeous, just a little Interbuild hardwax oil is all it needs.
