I bough this under my roof for insulation. My attic room was really cold during the winter, because in the storage area under the roof was no insulation at all (despite all the million regulations in the UK) so I decided to go for a proper insulation. So i decided to use this polystyrene instead of rockwoll. After installation the difference was immense straight away. Now the attic room feels more pleasant and welcoming. No more cold nights.
The product is different to the picture

I bought this item hoping it would be plain white, but it was a mix of black parts mixed up. So there is none that would be completly white, and this image needs an update. I did spend money to arrange a driver to pick up this item, which bnq claims its white. When got there was disappointed they don't have it.
Great for the job

I reserved these 6 large boards and when I arrived at the store later same day they were there waiting for me on a trolley. I had misjudged the size and they wouldn't fit my car hatchback. B&Q staff were very helpful and, although cutting expanded polystyrene type material can't be done on the store floor, they found me somewhere safe to cut it in half. They also lent me thee tool to do it. Jablite very easy to work with. I stuck it to my metal shed roof using silicone sealant i had left over from a job. Looks great and no condensation drips now.
Cost effective insulation

A great alternative to some of the more expensive insulations. Need twice the thickness of the foil lined stuff to pass building regs'.
