Would not recommend, the on/off switch is almost impossible to use with gloves, in the end I used the blade of a srew driver, not ideal.
Also throws disks off when taken off the sanding surface.

Pathetic sander

So I got this sander put a 40 grit disc on it put it on some wood and it stopped moving totally. Didn’t even have enough torque to overcome the friction of the sanding pad with just its own weight on it.

Absolutely shocking really I returned it for a refund and the guy at b and q even found it shockingly bad.

Got the erbauer 450 now it’s double the price but the 6 inch discs chew through wood like no tomorrow

Excellent job done. Switch hard to use.

Really good sander and works excellent as i have been using it from last 7 months. Working really good. The only problem was the on off switch was too hard from start. I opened it nd sanded it from one side. Now its really smooth. Working really well.

Didn't last long, switch difficult to move.

This orbital sander was ok while it lasted but it packed up after a few months of occasional use and too late to return it. Switch also was very difficult to move on it, needed to use a flat head screwdriver to push it so very awkward.

Good sander for the price

Good quality sander can not find any faults and the variable speed setting is a bonus. For those who are saying the down side is the on off switch I do not know what they are talking about yes it is a little stiff but this is to prevent you from accidently turning it on or off as it is near the hand grip, I do not know if those who reported an issue had a defective unit or just old and frail?
