Johnstone’s Trade Stormshield Sol Silicate Masonry is a matt finish coating, ideal for external and internal use on lime render, lime plaster as well as surfaces that require a high water permeability (such as underground). The Sol Silicate technology is non film forming and fully breathable which prevents moisture build up and help preserve the surface structure. With excellent water repelling properties to provide long lasting protection against weather and dirt, Sol Silicate Masonry naturally resists microorganisms such as mould and has limited combustibility* due to its low organic content. Ideal for use directly over most previously painted, rendered, or bare masonry surfaces including lime render/plasters, silicone renders and paints.
