Decent bit of wood for the price
Useful wood strips for rough jobs in the garden/house. Made some decent trellises out of it. Happy with the quality for the price.

Wooden slats
Bought these initially from shop- choosing carefully as indeed many are bowed or have holes. I then had to purchase online as I needed more than store had. Many of these were badly bowed and made completing the remaining fence panels time consuming and frustrating. I bought as they were the correct lengths for what I was doing but I do feel they are overpriced. So to sum up I’d say buy from a store where you can select slats carefully

Great battens but choose your own if you can.
Got some of the Lemhi battens to do a couple of jobs in the garden. The battens are nicely finished but I found that many of them in my local store were warped. Would suggest that if you can, go and pick your own in store. I still ended up with a few that were not straight despite taking time to go through the stack on offer. I did still manage to use them to make some greenhouse staging by cutting them into smaller pieces and rejecting the warped bits. The straightest battens were used to create some panels to cover some gravel boards. Overall, they are useful battens, dropped a star because of the high percentage of battens that were warped.
