Love my new flooring!

Good value for money, looks great and very modern looking. Used good underlay for noise proofing. Straight forward to fit (said the kitchen fitter). Laid it kitchen, livingroom, hallway and cupboard,
Looks good, poor quality

Recently bought another laminate floor from B&Q which was extremely easy to fit, didn't have a single visible gap and seems hard wearing. Assumed this would be similar but was very wrong.
Instructions supplied cover two different connecting systems but doesn't tell you which one you have. Pictures very small and don't contain much detail.
Needlessly difficult to fit on your own as the connecting system doesn't allow you to add one piece. You essentially have to fit it in entire rows which could easily be 3+ pieces depending on size of room. Inevitably when you give one end a small tap to help align it as per instructions, the opposite end of the row pops out.
Surprisingly, given how tightly (or poorly) the panels are tolerance, you do get small gaps which are very noticeable due to the light colour. After a few days of being walked on the flooring does seem to settle and gaps close.
Ironically although sold as waterproof, the instructions explain that it's only waterproof if you apply an additional product (waterproof silicone) over the joints.
Finally the coloured/patterned surface is very thin so chips easily around the edges. The base material is green so any chips are very obvious.
This flooring is fantastic

Got this flooring for my kitchen and it looks so good was a little bit of a struggle to fit but got it to line up so we’ll have to wait and see if it lasts the weather test with the dogs but we will see would recommend

got this laminate in spite of bad reviews, as i was only laying 4.5 sq mts along hall and bottom of stairs. over the yrs i've laid 5 or 6 much larger floors no prob, i ended up struggling for 2 day's not one board laid. finally gave up and got the glue out, my conclusion is it needs setting up millimetre perfect, the click system used is rocket science precise. it wont be down long i'm sure it will do my head in, and have to be replaced
You won't get it perfect

I brought this product 7 weeks ago and I have to say it's the hardest flooring I've fitted you want my get all joins perfect some boards seem to differ in size. Only by 1mm or so but it throws everything out. Even with the tightest of gaps this floor swelled up after a few weeks of mopping only in area's without 100% tight joins. Looks brilliant when down but won't last long
