Having installed a new Cooke and Lewis kitchen, I carefully chose this range cooker to fit in run of units. In my opinion it is a bad design feature that the oven doors are capable of opening right back which means that they hit the kitchen units. Damage was caused when, in a rush to get something out of the oven, the lh oven door banged into the new unit. Try it, you will see that the sharp edge of the chunky handle is capable of hitting the fascia of the door/drawer. I have sent several emails to leisure customer services suggesting this is a design fault and supplied photographs showing a spirit level in situ proving the appliance is level. Firstly they sent a repair engineer out which we knew would be a waste of time and following this said it must have been installed incorrectly. I actually do like this appliance but the doors should not be capable of opening this far. My complaint is not that they do, it’s that they can. Why?
