The handle snapped after 5 tiles

It worked well enough for the first few cuts, while not being easy to use, it at least got the job done. The next tile would not snap even after scoring several times with the wheel. The base and lever both flex when using. I think the base flexing meant that the tile was supported at the corners and therefore would not snap.
Rating one star on all counts because while it is cheap, it could not even make 5 cuts before breaking.
Works a treat!!

I was dubious about buying this after reading the reviews, I was going to go for a tile saw instead until I saw how big they are!! Although it didn’t come with any instructions and having never tiled before (30 yr old lass) I got the hang of it! I only broke one tile which I think I must have dropped as the others were absolutely fine! Love this little device and what a bargain price!!
Avoid total waste of money

Just horrendous, save your money and don’t waste it on this. Cheap, not capable of even cutting one tile. Avoid and just buy an electric tile cutter. My previous reviews have been deleted (three times).
No problems for a small tile job

Reading some of the reviews on here post buying this tile cutter I was really nervous. However all in all I've got to say it does the job granted my tiles were only 10 x 10 and used for a small job for a victorian fireplace but glad I didn't have to spend extra money on a electric circle saw with diamond blade

Worst tile cutter I have ever used, plastic cover above blade marks pattern on tiles, blade not effective and hard to get a straight cut as it wobbles
