My old mower had given up after 15 years loyal service, my requirements due to size of garden was petrol engine, self propelled, decent cutting width, easy change cutting height and easy to store, this mower ticked all the boxes but I was unsure about the electric start, a quick search on the net found video showing how it worked and thought that is so much better than pulling a cord and for less than £300 I decided to order one, it was delivered the next day, unpacked bolted the handle on (there are 3 settings for the handle height i'm 6ft tall and the middle setting is ideal no more bent back), battery took half an hour to charge, filled engine with oil (5w 30 same as my car but others can be used read the instructions) oil is not supplied, filled tank with petrol fitted the battery pulled the lever back pushed the button and the engine sprang into life. Grass was a little damp and longer than usual but used the lowest setting grass was cut in no time with little effort, moves along a little faster than my last one but you don't need to run to keep up, due to the size of the wheels easy to move back and forth without engine help. Checked engine restarted a few times with hot engine always started first time, would have prefered a more robust grass collector, time will tell how long the net material lasts, it's reasonably quiet no need to shout if talking to someone by you, it comes with a side exit grass shoot and mulching adapter both of which I will not fit or use. All in all very pleased with the purchase hopefully will last as long as my last mower.
