They say anything is a toy if your brave enough ... however anything more than a polishing wheel leaves your bits looking worse than a magaluf kabab

Just the job

Used it today on concrete posts which had to be shortened from 6' to 4' above ground....not having used one before ...it was pretty easy

Poor design

I bought this but am taking it back before I've even used it. After a lot of effort fitting the blade and then making sure the guard was fitted exactly correctly, I switched it on to find the guard works up the shaft and then clatters against the blade. Read the instructions and only then do you find you aren't able to use a diamond cutting blade with it! No explanation why, just you can't. Well that's the blade I bought it to be used with. So, with its poor fitting guard and lack of diversity in blades, it's on its way back.

Good for the price.

I bought this to cut through a number of pavings stones and found the supplied discs too coarse and would not cut. I changed to a diamond blade and the cut was immediately far better and went through solid concrete with no difficulty. Perhaps I did too many slabs one after the other but the motor did get quite hot. Conclusion, good for DIY small jobs.
