Always check your torque wrench on something that does not matter first! I set the wrench to 5Nm to check it actually functioned, did this on an old engine casing that I don't need... Good job as the wrench does not function at all. I could apply torque until I physically could no more, ratchet never clicked. Used a larger calibrated torque wrench to undo and required 26Nm to release. Would rate 0 stars don't risk it.
Poorly designed, poor build.

I have just bought and unboxed this. It is the first torque wrench I have ever bought that did not come with a certificate of calibration, I thought that was unusual but was fine with it for the cost. Then the micrometer gauge does not make any sense, I am used to a 0 being an indication that our are set to a marked figure but on this one the gauge lines up when a 1 is level with the marked number and 0 for the middle number, I am unsure what to trust especially as I am working at the low end of the torque range so a small error is potentially more harmful.
I will be returning this tomorrow.
Ideal cycle tool 5-25Nm

The torque wrench is high quality and simple to use. The I bought this wrench because it is half the price of official cycle wrenches and has an ideal range of 5-25Nm.
