This was a replacement for an older Manrose model that had lasted 8 years. As a result fitting took 10 min. and was straightforward. I have found the Manrose extractor fans to be superior to those sold by a major competitor, as I was replacing these every 1 - 3 years or so.
The only issue I had with the old Manrose was that the timing unit (capacitor) deteriorated with age and stopped functioning after about 6 years. The timing unit in the recently fitted VMG100T fan isn't particularly accurate either, so bear in mind if you set it to 20 min. you'll probably get about 40 min. before it switches off.

I bought this to replace an existing extractor. It look good, was easy to fit, quiet and powerful in use, with an easily adjustable delay timer.

No great difference to fitting this extractor but it starts instantly, runs as quietly as the rush of air permits and is made to last.
