I was nervous to get this, but I thought I would take the punt. Wow !! Very simple design, easy to fit and actually toke less than ten minutes!! Very impressed!
Don’t buy unless you have a perfectlceiling

Poor quality, flimsy and too many catches which makes it difficult unless you have perfect ceiling. Ended up in the bin which is best place for it
Excellent product

Bought this loft hatch at bnq today 10/10/2020 and it was an amazing fit . Says two man job but can be installed by one person . Literally took ten minutes to take out the old one and replace with the new one . Well worth the money .
Looks good but...

Bought this cover to replace the existing push up cover as I wanted to fit a loft ladder and obviously the cover needs to drop down. Quite simple to fit but as my hatch was close to coving I needed to move it away from its existing position which entailed cutting joists etc. I think it would be easy if you didn't need to do this. The problem came when I fitted the hatch back into it's plastic frame. I doubt that any ceiling is perfectly flat and with this product being plastic it follows the contours of the ceiling. It was very difficult to open and close. When I put a spirit level up to it I saw the problem. Don't over tighten the screws and use a level to ensure the frames plastic catches are flat to each other. If they are not the hatch will be difficult to close and open. Hope this helps.
