The 800W Masterbuilt MES130B Digital Electric Smoker is ideal for both those who are new to smoking, as well as experts! The digital control allows you to turn the smoker on and off and to control the cooking temperature and time whilst an adjustable air damper controls the amount of smoke in the cabinet. The body of the cabinet is fully insulated for heat retention and a thermostat ensures consistent temperatures. This Black Outdoor Smoker uses a patented side wood chip loading system so you can add flavoured wood chips without opening the door, allowing you to maintain the internal temperature. Dry chips will burn faster producing a more intense smoke, or you can soak the chips in water for a slower burn and milder flavouring, as desired. The Smoker is supplied with four chrome plated racks, providing a total cooking area of 4,587cm². It also comes with a water bowl, wood chip tray, a removable base drip pan and a rear grease collection tray. You can use the water bowl to add moisture to foods, or fill it with fruit juice or other combinations for subtle favouring. The wood chip tray collects ash for easy disposal and the removable base drip pan has a hole in the centre allowing excess juices and grease to flow into the grease collection tray at the rear aiding cleaning. This Smoker does require a small amount of assembly but is provided with a detailed Instruction Manual containing the steps required, operating information including a wood chip guide, along with smoking times and temperatures. It is suggested that the smoker is pre-seasoned before first use to rid it of oil produced in the manufacturing process. This information is contained in the Instruction Manual.
