Surprise surprise like all budget 2 stroke engines I’ve ever bought, this has now stopped working. Only used it a few times earlier in the year, now won’t work this time round. Got it started, lasted 2 seconds, then cut out. Just out of warranty, took it all apart, cleaned it, won’t start at all now.. brilliant.

Great little saw

Bought this saw to replace a broken cheap bog standard unbranded saw and decided to spend a little more on a decent branded one,Collected from store And it was set up ready to go straight out of the box, just needs fuel and oil, gave it a once over to make sure things were tight etc.Even has built in tool storage.
Used for first time at weekend to cut mainly “ordinary “ sized logs (roughly 4 to 8 inch diameter ) , added mixed fuel and it fired up after just 3 pulls , ran perfect and cuts easily, used more chain oil than other saw but seems better on fuel and power, some online reviews complain of saw not starting after use when warm?? This Machine fired up first pull every time regardless of how cool or hot engine was.
So far I can’t fault this saw,it’s not overpowered but has more than enough to do what I need it for, general log chopping etc.
I’d definitely recommend it and price was good too

Good Saw

Bought this to replace my 1978 homelite, Have just cut about a ton of lime log's about 12inch thick, saw did not miss a beat, did not even ajust chain, good on fuel and oil,but did take 5 or 6 pulls to start when hot, overall happy with saw.

Not good

Brought and used on the same day. The chain doesn’t stay taut and as such every cut needed to tighten again. Then issue with chain actually coming off.
Had to return in the end as can’t use properly

Seems a little underpowered.

This is my fist chainsaw. It's a great package and is well made. The manual is very comprehensive but only the first 30 or so pages are for an English speaking audience. I used this to cut down a small to medium silver birch and, while it did the job, seemed a little underpowered at times. You are going to have to mix two-stroke to power this tool so I would recommend a mixing bottle like the one they sell at other vendors.

Oh, and a week after I bought it B&Q lowered the price in a sale. Not so happy about that.
