Very poor quality. Screws too short in terminals
Wigwambam - 1 month ago
As everyone says I bought this light switch as MK used to be a quality brand however on searching electrical forums I found out this is no longer the case. Screws on terminals are too tight and when finally released they are also too short. B&Q should remove product with so poor ratings
Do not buy!

Screws are too short to clamp wires. Had to return and buy cheaper switch (Power Pro) which worked well.
Can’t tighten screws for the wires

A poor product which I would not recommend . Other similar reviews show it’s been a poorly made switch for a number of years. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Terminal Screws on Switch Socket

Likewise had a short screw problem at the terminal that was very tight when unpacked.
Used a blade that fitted the screw head fully and on loosening the screw then proceeded to complete the threading process that our cheaper MK (Malaysian) manufacturers had failed to complete properly.
Probably a small burr on the screw thread stopping full depth tavel.
Just tighten the screw until it becomes tight, loosen again, then tighten, then loosen etc etc until the thread is complete and screw travels fully down.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN AS THE HEAD WILL BECOME DAMAGED.
Hope that Helps :)
Fifty-fifty chance it will be okay

For some users the screws that hold the wires in place are long enough. Alas for me they were not. Had to use the longer screws out of the old switch.
