Don't buy
Bad product and horrible customer service (no thecnical help). I don't know why B&Q selling these third party companies on their website.

Purchased to replace existing tired awning. As the bolts were exactly in the same place was easy to fit.

Wind out sun shade
A very good quality product indeed. I managed to fit this on my gable end which is random stone although i had to use a bit of packing to get the brackets lined up. It would be far easier on a nice straight brick or concrete one as it’s just two brackets and four holes. You need a 14mm drill for the holes and two people to lift it into place and put the securing bolts in place. It would be possible to do it on your own but the unit is quite long and heavy. When i first wound the screen fully out it wasn’t straight but don’t panic as you can level it up at either end by loosening a bolt and winding another bolt in or out depending on which side is wrong. Winding in and out us simple enough and you get an arm workout while you do it 😃
