Aluminium needn't be dull thanks to PaintNuts Aluminium Window & Door Paint. Ultra-fast drying times, excellent adhesion and UV / weather resistant properties make it perfectly forumlated for use on aluminium windows, doors, casings and frames, even if they're exposed to the elements.

• Surface Preparation - Use a clean cloth with hot soapy water to remove any dust or dirt on the surface. Once dry use PaintNuts Degreaser to remove any stubborn contaminants, grease or wax. Use a light grit scotch cloth to 'key' the surface to take off the sheen and improve adhesion for a longer lasting finish. Wipe down the aluminium surface with degreaser again to remove any residue and leave to dry. Once dry, mask around the aluminium surface area with masking tape and paper ready for painting. Mix paint for at least 2 minutes prior to application to ensure colour consistency.
• Instructions for Use - Remove as much paint as possible and clean equipment with white spirit.  Store indoors in a cool, dry location between 5°C and 25°C and out of direct sunlight. Use within 12 months once opened.

For the front of a typical uPVC door, 250ml is sufficient per coat. We recommend two coats, so 500ml is generally enough. For an average-sized window frame (1498mm x 736mm), approx. 250ml covers two frames with two coats. A 400ml can covers around 2sqm per coat, so one can cover a typical uPVC door. We suggest two coats, meaning two 400ml cans are usually sufficient.

• Available in the following finishes: Matt (10% gloss level), Satin (30% gloss level) or Gloss (90% gloss level).

• It’s important to apply paint in favourable weather conditions. Ideal temperature is between 10°C and 25°C.
