Good value lamp
Maglu - 1 year ago
I bought this lamp to provide some background lighting in my kitchen diner when we don't have the ceiling spotlights on. It does a great job of providing a soft but decent level of light. I found it quite straight forward to assemble but I am fairly practical. I would recommend this light.
Just off to buy two more!

They look nice, are functional, and provide more light-output than any other floor lamps in this price-range as they take two bulbs instead of one, which also distributes the light better. Good value for money.
These are obviously at the budget-end as paper floor lamps go, so don't expect wonders. But they are a visually-pleasing and cost-effective way to bring more light to a dull room. I was very happy with the last two I bought and I'm just off to buy two more.
I probably have to agree with the previous reviewer's comment that it isn't immediately obvious how to put them together, but it only takes a bit of common sense. If you don't have any common sense, just stay calm and use trial and error, you'll get there! I doubt they are much harder to put together than any other paper floor light.
As for the reviewer who said they could poke their finger through the paper, yes, you probably can. If you're the sort of person who likes to poke your lamp hard, a 'paper' lamp probably isn't for you, the clue is in the name. My first two of these lamps survived one year without getting damaged by me or my two dogs. I'd still have them now, but I had to leave a lot behind when relocating, which is why I'm off to get two more now.

Waste of money, poked my fingers through it during assembly, would recommend only as a short term measure
Have no clue how to put it together

I am quite good at assembling things, but this is beyond me! I've been staring at the instructions (which are pictures rather than text) for nearly two hours and I can't work out how to do it. I asked my neighbour who's a DIY-er to help and he can't work it out either. There's around 10 pieces which is ridiculous and you need tools (which I don't have) It's baffled us both; will have to return!
Good looking but fragile

Love the look and quality of light from this but the paper tears really easily.
