I bought this 2 months ago to get ready for a project , it cut two lightweight blocks and the motor started to spark and make lots of noise. I had on from elsewhere that lasted 4 years . This is very poor .

Purchased to cut bricks to enlarge door opening, used £10 diamond disk, grinder worked well. Take a break before you tire as starting force and any kick back can be strong. Wear safety gear.
Be ware ! ! In very dusty conditions after some use. I found excessive sparking from the brushes this was caused by build up of grit preventing the sprung carbon brushes sliding correctly.
I unplugged, undid the two side hatches hovered out and freed the brushes. Then the grinder worked properly again. Guess this can also occur with other makes of grinder.

Needed an angle grinder for a one off job of laying patio slabs. At first I was happy as it managed to get through three 3:2 flags and easy to handle. On the forth it cut out and wouldn't restart, gave it an hour but still no luck. Exchanged for same model but on it's first slab it cut out and wouldn't restart. Even using the Erbauer 230mm diamond disc both units failed.

Bought this to cut flags and bricks... choose this one as it was the cheapest i could find and i am well impressed and would definitely recommend... Just be careful as it doesn't have a soft start so when you start it for the first time it has quite a kick
