Fitted this tap approximately three years ago. Had issues where outside seal perished and dripped water down brickwork causing discolouration. Rectified with new seal. Last night, the internal nylon pressure fitting suddenly split, causing full water pressure to flood the kitchen. Luckily we were around and were able to deal with it quickly. This appears to have happened to others previously. Will look for a better quality product to replace.

decent bit of kit

When cutting through the pipe with the tap cutter. The rubber seal inside the tap cutter did not seal the hole properly in the pipe. Flooded my kitchen!! So Emergency plumber had to be called out.

Poor design means low pressure

I wouldn't recommend this product. It uses a flexible hosepipe type pipe to feed the water to the tap and the inlet to the tap is on top and close to the wall. Therefore, the inlet pipe kinks where it comes out of the wall and bends 90 degrees from horizontal to vertical. This reduces the pressure to an unusable amount.

Rubbish won’t cut through the pipe and the thread in the tap is to small the tap just pulls off
