Bought this to stop cistern constantly running. Easy to install. did the job ....Cheaper than calling a plumber.
No more drips

I had a dripping flush system, continually running via the overflow into the toilet.
Having dismantled the valve mechanism and identified the part this little beauty did the job and at a fraction of the cost of a plumber.
Excellent: Simple Drop In Replacement
Hillwalker - 5 years ago
My daughter's Ideal Standard toilet began to overflow from the cistern. After some Internet reading, I realised this was an exact replacement for the washer in her fill valve. A simple job to dismantle and replace washers (no sign of splits on the old washer but I wonder if the gravity pin was sticking) new for old. Just make sure you get it the right way up! Ask me how I know... £1.57 and 20 mins well spent!
mistake buying it

Made the mistake of buying this as its no good for the newer twist lock system, this is for the screw type... the packaging is horrendous as its shrink wrapped on the card and need to be very careful not to damage the tiny piston thing sticking out.
