Bought as a temporary replacement due to the old toilet cistern fracturing. Fitting a new suite and bathroom build later in summer. It does the job, but I replaced the seat, as it is rubbish. I am a qualified plumbing and heating engineer, from my previous life, so advise you watch out for the cone shaped cistern washers not sealing properly, add sealant to the base of the screw heads before securing.
Bargain loo, but not without headaches

Bought this to replace our old loo that just wouldn't flush properly after fitting a new flush mechanism. At £45 it was cheaper than a plumber call out and took me around two hours to fit.
For £45 you pretty much get everything you need. The cistern and pan seem both good quality castings. The flush mechanism isn't the geatest, but it works and works well so no worries there.
A few things to be aware of:
As another reviewer pointed out the right-hand wall mounting hole for the cistern is hidden by the fill valve when fitted, so mount the cistern before fitting the valve. It's tricky to tighten everything up with the cistern fitted but not impossible.
The mounting bolts for connecting the cistern to the pan actually go through holes in the base of the cystern and seal with rubber washers and nuts. Again you have to get these sufficiently tight so that they don't leak. They're a bugger to get at once it's all fitted (don't ask me how I know). I'd prefer to see the usual separate mounting plate beneath the cistern. Why put two additional holes in a water vessel when you could just supply a mounting plate? Sure the product would probably cost another fiver but I'd have paid it.
The seat is really poor quality to be honest, but as I was using the soft close seat from my old loo that wasn't a problem. But you have to bear in mind that the whole loo cost only £45 complete so compromises have to be made somewhere I suppose.
In short this really got me out of a fix, so I'm happy. Would I buy one if I was fitting out a new bathroom? Probably not, but minor issues notwithstanding, it's good value for money. If you're on a tight budget it will do the job (but splash out on a better seat).
Annoying seat cover

The toilet is not bad itself but having a huge problem with the seat cover supplied. The cover doesn’t fit properly and sticks out way forward. The hinges are poorly made so it comes off after 2/3 uses, very annoying and frustrating. I bought a soft close one from a shop which also didn’t fit as the pan is smaller than the standard toilet. I looked in every website available to order a compact size cover but no success. I really regret buying this toilet.

brought this a while ago but just using it. A bit lower than my old toilet. Seat is rubbish and to thin. Plastic fittings for toilet seat to flimsy and slip. mine slipped off and broke. Manufacturers should be banned from the rubbish plastic fittings. just tried another seat a soft closing one. it would not raise up because of close coupling of toilet returning that tomorrow. Going to look round for another. obviously cant have soft closing hinge is to thick against cistern. make sure you get stainless steel fittings.
