But twice as much as you think you may need and it will take twice as long as you think. If you follow the instructions and don’t do it when it’s too hot and sunny, even wet your decking slightly once applied so it doesn’t dry out. I did use a wire brush, even though you really shouldn’t, but it was the only way it was going to get the stain properly off. Took 2 days of hard slog and I’m a woman lol. Just need to clean it now with cleaner and then it’s oil this time. Wouldn’t stain a decking again.

    Rubbish

Did exactly as instructed, fell over it was like an ice rink when applied, how can you go over areas that are drying out if you can't even step in it. Anyway off to diy store to try something different

We needed to strip some steps made from decking. This worked really well. It does take a bit of effort but our steps are now ready to be treated again

    Not so straight forward

It takes a lot of effort to scrub all the peeling paint. Not worth it. I got fed up half way through and did not apply it all over the decking, and with enough coats of decking stain you cannot tell the difference on the area that it had been used on. My advise is to stain without stripping the old paint.
